Sprott theoretically on crib death??
Has anyone read the book by Dr. Sprott about SIDS? Or someone he ordered the mattress? After doing a lot of research on sudden death, I feel like Dr. Sprott that the only answers that make sense. I have a daughter, 11 eight days, and I know that her risk of sudden death is highest at this time. I am terrified every time she sleeps and sought answers and a way to ease my concerns. I do all these things that the experts suggest, like many other parents who have always lost their young. I just wanted to know what everyone thought on the theoretical level of toxic gases, or if someone has purshed the mattress. I would also like to know if someone know of any baby who has spent all he sleeps on mattress protectors. Thank you:)
My husband and I lost our son when he was 11 months. Initially they heard of SIDS. But it led me to surprise because he was almost a year. (This happened almost 3 years). Since the day tradgic we lost, I was a student. Did you know that nearly 80% of cases of SIDS are the cause of a problem of metabolism? Very Interestingly, I know. We pushed to have an autopsy on my son and reading are read by doctors across the country. Our son didn't die of SIDS. In Actually, we just discovered last year that it was a condition called metabolic MCAD. Most cases, SIDS are in fact untreated due to the MCAD. We our little sleep, we tend not to wake them from their bottle. Either we do not want to wake up, or we take the opportunity to rest. In babies, their works metabolsim been completely different then ours. If they go past their time to bottle, their rate Get Low blood sugar can. Their little bodies do not know how to handle it the way we adults. Now, I'm not saying that every baby has this problem, or all cases, SIDS are related to metabolism. But studies show that most cases have to do with metabolism. Babies are usually tested at birth under such conditions. However, it can be difficult. Not all states provide some of these tests. And test shortly after birth the baby does not really give accurate results in the first place. If your child wasn't tested at birth, ask your doctor to make metabolic screening. If it was at birth, and came to agreement, to another just in case, at the age of 3 months.
